Traveling in spring and fall seasons is what we recommend for best views of landscape and mountains. These two seasons in particular, offer the best weather for pleasant air flights and land transportation. During the summer and monsoon season, the trails become muddy and slippery with limited views of the mountain backdrops owing to the profuse blankets of clouds and fogs.

Annapurna Luxury Lodge trek is a relatively easy hike. The trip includes short trek at lower altitudes in Nepal. The green forests in the low altitudes Annapurna region has more oxygen level in the air, so it does not pose any threat of altitude sickness. The fitness level required for this trek is optimum as trekkers do not require technical expertise or mountaineering skills. The trek may only seem taxing because of its duration of 6-day hike with frequent uphill and downhill walks. One must be healthy and fit enough to face the challenge of trekking of minimum 5-6 hours in a day.

The weather during this trek completely varies differently in different seasons and the mountain weather is rather difficult to predict. The snow-capped Himalayan region is never really hot, not even during the summer season. Spring and fall seasons are generally considered to be the best times for doing this trek. Although it is generally cooler during the night time, the days are comparatively warmer, especially at low elevations. However, winters are relatively colder during the night time and the days can be warm if the sun is out. It is always important to make sure that you stay warm and dry in almost any weather conditions during this trek.

You will have ample opportunities to sample the local cuisines on this trip. However, you will always have an option for choose more familiar international dishes too. However, only breakfast will be provided while you are in Kathmandu and Pokhara. As for drinking water, we do not recommend to drink untreated water from the taps and if you wish to, then we advise to bring along purification tablets or a filter bottle to treat your water. We do not encourage the purchasing of plastic bottled water for drinking purpose to minimize the trashes in the environment. Boiled water will always be available at all places and during the trek, you may fill in your individual bottles with the boiled-cum-cooled water for drinking.
