Lobuche East and Kyajo Ri Peak Expedition – 28 Days
Trip Itinerary
Take an opportunity to experience one of the best off-the-beaten path trekking and climbing trips in Nepal to test your strength
The Lobuche East and Kyajo Ri Peak Expedition has been designed for the adventurers who are energetic and physically fit and are in quest for a challenging and off the beaten path trekking & climbing experience. Besides summiting Lobuche and Kyajo Ri, the itinerary also covers a trek to the base camp of world’s highest mountain – Mt. Everest. Trekking through the Everest region also offers astounding mountain views including an opportunity to take a glimpse into the life of world famous climbers, the Sherpas, and a chance to survey around a world heritage site of Sagarmatha National Park that hosts a variety of Himalayan floras and faunas. Mt. Lobuche (6119m/20,070 ft) climb is certainly a bit more challenging than other popular climbs such as, the Island Peak. Kyajo Ri at 6,186 m/20,290 ft is even more technical than Lobuche.
The Everest region not only boasts of four of the world’s six tallest peaks Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu, but the region is also blessed with numerous lesser mountain peaks, including the Kyajo Ri and Lobuche. First, we get to the base camp of the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest which would also help us in acclimatization for our next two endeavors – Lobuche and Kyajo Ri.

We will be staying in Yatri Suites & Spa or similar for 3 nights in Kathmandu, and 24/25 nights in comfortable teahouse/lodge, and 5-7 nights in two-men camping tent. We provide attached rooms in major towns like Lukla, Namche Bazzar, however teahouses/lodges of most of the places in mountain only have shared washing and toilet facilities. For tent accommodation, foam mattress will be made available. We maintain standard comfort in every matter based on the enforceable conditions such as weather calamities. In climbing section, toilet facilities will be provided with necessary natural preservation. If you are a solo traveler, you will share a room/tent with someone else of same sex of your group. If you prefer a single room, you may indicate your preference and get single rooms on request by paying single supplement USD 350. However, we like you to understand the fact that there are several places that do not allow single room accommodation in the Everest Region. On paying single supplement, you will get single room in Kathmandu but sometimes it is feasible only up to Namche Bazzar only during the trek. Above Namche Bazzar single accommodation is not always feasible. However, we will try our best to provide you with single rooms in all places as much as possible.
